Poly/Cotton School Uniform Sweatshirts
Normally, sweatshirt fabric consists of varying blends of cotton, polyester and other mixed fibres. The polyester adds durability to the natural softness properties associated with cotton. The quality of the garment can sometimes be measured by the weight in grammes per square metre (gsm) of the cotton contained within the material. Similarly, the greater the percentage of polyester indicates the more hard wearing the material.
Acrylic/Poly/Cotton School Wear Sweatshirts
The addition of acrylic fibres to the poly/cotton blend improves the colourfastness of the material, and consequently reduces the chance of the dye fading after continual washing. This addition can only improve the longevity of the garment, making it longer lasting and better value for money over time.
